  • What should I bring when boarding my dog?

    We provide comfortable bedding and premium food, but you’re welcome to bring your dog’s favourite bed, toys, and any specific food or medication they require to make them feel more at home.

  • Can I board more than one dog together?

    Yes, we offer spacious kennels that can accommodate more than one dog from the same household, so your pets can stay together for comfort during their time with us.

  • How often will my dog be exercised?

    Each dog is exercised at least twice a day in our secure play areas. For dogs with extra energy, we also offer optional country walks to keep them active and happy.

  • What if my dog has special dietary needs?

    We can accommodate dogs on special diets. Just let us know the details, and you’re welcome to bring your own food. We’ll ensure it’s prepared exactly as instructed to meet your dog’s needs.

  • Can you accommodate nervous, reactive, or aggressive dogs?

    Yes, at Keepers Cottage Boarding Kennels, we welcome dogs of all temperaments, including those who are nervous, reactive, or aggressive. We understand that leaving a dog with behavioural issues can be stressful for owners, but rest assured, our experienced team is well-equipped to care for any dog, regardless of their temperament. We have safety systems in place to ensure the wellbeing of both your dog and our staff, making their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. You can enjoy your holiday knowing your pet is in capable and loving hands.

Accommodation
Tailored for Comfort

At Keepers Cottage, your dog’s comfort is our top priority. We provide cosy, raised sleeping beds in each kennel, lined with freshly laundered fleece for extra warmth. Our durable plastic beds come in various sizes, but if your dog prefers their own bedding from home, you’re welcome to bring it along. We want every dog to feel safe, snug, and right at home during their stay with us.

Because Every Dog is Unique

We understand that every dog has a unique personality, which is why we take the time to get to know them. The details you provide help us personalise their care as if they were our own. Each day, your dog will receive personal attention, from brushing to playtime and cuddles. They’ll enjoy time in our secure play areas at least twice a day, and for the more energetic dogs, we offer optional countryside walks to keep them active and happy.

Tailored to Their Needs

We are committed to feeding your dog the best. Our premium food selection is carefully tailored to your dog’s age, breed, and health needs. Whether they prefer dry kibble or a mix of wet and dry food, we ensure their meals are balanced and nutritious. For dogs on special diets, you’re welcome to provide their own food, and we’ll prepare it just as instructed. Our team is also trained to administer any medications or supplements under your vet’s guidance (additional fees may apply).

Our rates are structured per dog, per day, with options available for small, medium, large, and extra-large breeds.
